Gifts, cats and dancing men

Hello again, Wantirna-watchers! it's been a couple of days since the last post, and maybe you've run out of tour information to brag to your neighbour about, so here we are to keep you up to date! Well since you've last heard from us, we've met a death metal tour guide, a head banging tree fern, pigs with moustaches, dancing village people and came face to face with an angry shirtless finger-pointing man. We've been on long walks, stayed in a longhouse and have stayed up long hours (tea partying and such). So let us tell you in such excruciatingly high detail, you can tell every little detail to old Andrew over the fence next time you're washing your car.

So on Monday, we woke up pretty early to head to Bako National park, where we were to see monkeys (and lots of them!). The official hotel wake up call was at 7:20am (though we woke up a little earlier and jumped on the room phone with our own lion king themed wake up calls for our fellow peers!) After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guides, John and Brian arrived to take us to the Jetty on the outskirts of Bako National Park. From there we met Riman, a death metal musician, biologist and our tour guide for the next day. After a fast boat ride, we arrived on the shores of the Bako resort. That day, Riman took us for a walk to a beach. It was a great beach for swimming, and us masculine guys were quick to jump in. To be continued, keep reading for more hilarious installments!!
